Dr. Downing is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who received his M.D. from the New York University School of Medicine, and did his Sports Fellowship at Lenox Hill. He specializes in arthroscopic shoulder surgery and rotator cuff repair. He was a team doctor for the New York Jets. He has recently been appointed to the Connecticut State Sports Medicine Council.
