George H. McGinniss, M.D.

Dr. George McGinniss received his Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University. He then went on to receive his medical degree from Georgetown Medical School. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City. He then completed a sports medicine fellowship with the internationally recognized Dr. Frank Noyes, who established the basic clinical research responsible for the state of the art anterior cruciate reconstructions performed today.

He has helped to take care of the Cincinnati Bengals, the Olympic soccer and diving teams and is a team physician for local high school athletic teams. He was featured in WWF's HBO miniseries, "Tough Enough" as the "Sports Doc" and has treated many wrestlers. He was recently Director of the Stamford Hospital Department of Orthopaedics.

Dr. McGinniss is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and has been a member of the Arthroscopy Association of North American and the American Society for Sports Medicine.

Dr. McGinniss is the author and co-author of numerous articles on anterior cruciate ligament deficiency.

John F. Downing, M.D.

Dr. Downing is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon who received his M.D. from the New York University School of Medicine, and did his Sports Fellowship at Lenox Hill. He specializes in arthroscopic shoulder surgery and rotator cuff repair. He was a team doctor for the New York Jets. He has recently been appointed to the Connecticut State Sports Medicine Council.

Frank A. DiFazio, M.D.

College of Medicine. He is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon and completed his fellowship training in Hip and Knee Replacement Surgery at The Hospital for Special Surgery. He is the former chief of Orthopaedic Surgery at Kaiser Midwest in Ohio.

Jeffrey J. Brooks, M.D.

Dr. Brooks received his M.D. from Columbia University. He completed two fellowships in hand, microvascular and upper extremity surgery as well as orthopaedic trauma surgery and fracture care. He has cared for the Providence Bruins hockey team, The Brown University varsity football team and the New York Philharmonic during his training.

Adam Brodsky, M.D.

Dr. Brodsky graduated from the Suny Health Center/School of Medicine. He trained and worked at the Hospital for Special Surgery for five years. A Foot and Ankle Fellowship was completed at Brown University/Rhode Island Hospital. He also helped cover the NY Mets and NY Giants. He recently co-authored "Current Concepts Review" on ankle instability, which is published by the Journal of Foot and Ankle International He has established a foot service consisting of a team of surgeon, podiatrist, orthotist and physical therapy for complete care of the foot and ankle.
